Her Silent Heart

The pain silenced her heart forever

Stone walls surrounded every foundation

The door was locked with the key lost in the sea of forgetters

What seemed to beat an extra beat a day, stopped so sudden

Her heart was drowned by the tears of her sorrow.

Months have passed and the chains were still present but not only on her heart, but now on her mind. She was captured.

The pain was like a knife trying to break through the lock of her heart. Piercing but not successful. Her lock was unbreakable as things daily tried to break though and hurt her. But her pain from her past was binding the lock for eternity.

Her emotions and feelings ended up becoming the same way as if they never existed in the first place.

Her eyes were glazed over so she couldn’t show her story within them. Her face became as a statue never changing! Frozen to protect what “Hope” she had left.

Every chain on her, had a story of pain and regret that silenced her heart forever

No more caring or loving came forth as she hid from everything possible

Her silent heart is what’s kept her alive.
