Her Shining In The Moonlight

Location

Remember us talking?
So late at night,
we loved walking
in the calming twilight.
The cricket symphony,
and the shining stars;
and the way that I loved
all that you are.

Your eyes twinkled,
and my heart skipped a beat.
We both leaned in,
and I could feel your heat.
Your cheeks turned rosy,
and your smile bloomed.

I swear, the moon grew jealous
of the way you sparkled
in her light.
And I knew, in that moment,
I fell in love that night.
