For Her

Thu, 10/31/2013 - 18:23 -- Brad

My heart skipped two beats when our eyes met;

Her eyes were a vast ocean for me to explore.

Her radiant smile was contagious;

I was immediately infected,

And I had no defense.

Her beauty was simply immaculate; she had a face that could launch a thousand ships.

Her temperament was simply enthralling;

Her presents was serendipitous.

Indeed, what unusual fortunate it was to meet such a charming girl.

With her hand in mine, I knew I could take on the world;

She could be Bonnie and I would be her Clyde.

But another was In the picture,

So I masked obstreperous devastation under my quiet smile.

She is the skip in my heart beat;

Her heart is a star in the distance.

So I will become an astronaut.
