Helpless

HelplessRomans 7:13 “Has then what was good become death to me? Certainly not!But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful”.

Sin finds opportunity deep in the commandments

to fully deceive ... and that’s a simple fact.

I know the law is spiritual ... almost beyond my grasp.

I am just carnal ... draped in sin at best.

What I will to do, I do not practice ... what I hate I always seem to do.

So when I do what I will not ... I must agree that the law is good

and it is no longer I who does ... it but sin that thrives within me.

It is in me where the difference is ... and that must be understood.

I know in my flesh dwells no good ... although the will is present with me.

but to perform what is good ... I do not find within me.

The strength of God the answer ... to my predicament

Through Jesus Christ, The Savior ... Who wills to live through me.
