There are those around you who have experienced pain,
who have seen their loved ones get hurt, raped, murdered and slain,
and all they’re looking for is someone to remember their name.
For others it may not be so bad,
but that still doesn’t dismiss the fact that they may be sad,
or longing for a love they never had.
We as humans have a short time on this earth
we have one chance to do something meaningful with it
so please don’t waste time turning people away.
Instead choose to be a breath of fresh air
in the lives of those who’ve inhaled nothing but poison
And maybe one day you'll look back and realize that you were chosen
To rekindle a fire that was once previously frozen
Some who appear to have it all may act like they're ok
But when you really look deep
One kind word could change their life in a miraculous way.
