My eyes, they water

My mouth, they're dry

My head, it's spinning

My heart, it's breaking

My body, it's frail

My ears, they're deaf

My voice, it's mute

My feet, they stumble

And then, I scream

Away the pain

Away the numbness

Away the tears

Away the silence

Help

They're coming back

My darkness, I cower

My fears, I hide

My weakness, I crumble

My colors, I fade

My life, I leave

My love, goodbye

And then, I beat

Away the pain

Away the numbness

Away the tears

Away the silence

And yet, they come back

This poem is about:
Our world
