hello, mikey

to mikey

hello, mikey

you've been gone for almost a year now

your face haunts my memories when i lay in bed, those greyish-green eyes with hair of curly brown

i lay, in wait for the image of your small warm hand resting in mine

your soft warm skin, seems so devine-

now that i know its gone.

gone. and im left feeling so wrong.

wrong that i left to live with my mother

we should've had one another

i should've seen you in your prom tuxedo, and in your graduation gown.

instead i saw you lying down, upon the funeral palor table.

your skin was unnaturally cold to the touch,

it was too much...

it was too much.

7 years old, and surrounded by the plush of stuffed toys

when you shouldve been in class surrounded by girls and boys.

you were so young

you were so young

the memories of when i sung.

i sung to you, and only you.

i miss you

and yes, mikey, i love you too.

love,

billie
