I meet a man today.

I have known him before.

Maybe it was in a past life.

He was a simple man of simple means yet he knew of the world.

He knew about its wonders and its horrors.

He told me about life and the spirit within.

He had knowledge beyond his years.

He taught me things that no one could teach me.

And all we did was say hello.

He was no God

He was no ghost

He was a mortal like you and I

Yet he seemed to have not existed

A figment of my imagination
