Heavenly Father

The night I saw you slip away

Is the night my courage faded away

I was lost without you

So I decided to waste away

Thinking of you kindly

With your smile, laugh, and tender hugs

Tears begin to swell

As my memories return you to me

But as time eslapsed

My courage returned

I'm still wasted

But fear no longer reigns

I think of you often

Sitting in heaven

Talking to your family

Who's long since waited
