Heart Attack

Met a girl named passion, though we never lasted

because of her compassion and deep love for me

our breakup was drastic, she moved fast because she figured being perfect wouldn't work for me

now she felt worthless felt she ain't deserve it

5 months later i hear my dream was working in the streets, how could she?

Beautiful black girl on her way to the ivy league.

Broken heart but she was to smart and that smile hid all her pain

daddy wasn't there, jealous mother didn't care and now I, I wasn't there

it was only clear that she would snap

and me being young and dumb thought i could make up for my wrongs,

but things will never get better

I just received her last letter

saying I was her heart attack.
