A Heart and A Camera

A heart and a camera
lay on the floor
a heart and a camera
behind a door

an old Kellogg phone
hangs on the wall
a ghost lives alone
only the past calls

a torn paper body
in a white dress
being dyed maroon
the demons digress

a flame lit in a hand
wind cracks the pane
glass turns to sand
time passes so slow

disastrous rage
sages' temples fall
a veil is placed
over the rubble

glistening autumn leaves
float through the air
covering the ground
no seasons to spare

moon sings the tides
ever changing
in the night a life's
essence fading

the ghost finally fades
with one last call
hand prints remain
forever more

a new smile dawns
the future's tall
crystal prisms fill
a new sunrise starts
