The Hawk In Me

Location

There is a hawk in me,

With talons like razor blades,

And piercing eyes like amber stones glittering in the sunlight

It screeches like the sound of sharp nails on a chalkboard;

It soars like a weightless missile falling to kill

It lives in my soul,

And makes me strong.

I wish my guide would show me the way.
