I don't believe in filters.

I don't believe in coloring in the lines.

I don't believe in making apologies for who I am.

I do believe in unconventional beauty.

Not all beauty is in the form of long hair and well shaped bodies.

I am beautiful in the way that old books and family heirlooms are beautiful.

I am rough around the edges and torn and battered with a story to tell.

I am beautiful in the way dandelions are beautiful.

I am overlooked by many, but I have a lot to offer if you take the time.

I don’t filter my pictures.

I don’t filter my words.

I don’t filter myself.

Because why would I filter something that doesn’t need filtering?

I don’t need filters, I need you to take the time to understand me.
