Harmony

Sat, 12/09/2017 - 13:01 -- Halseus

Tiny insects in the grass that dance to the wind,
They observe me like a giant on a beanstalk.

Creatures crawling on my hand in formation like a perfect sonata,
The cool breeze that strums the hair on my arms as I touch the coarse bark,
The chirp of birds in tune with the gusts of wind,
Children laughing to the bassline of running water in a pool.

Classmates by a forgotten baseball field that's been retired by time,
The fragrance of peacefulness emanating from the pink flowers,
The melodic current of tranquility that gives relief to the dog days of summer.

We live in harmony.
