Always building me up, Just to tear me down

Sweat running down my body

Always filled my eyes with tears

Bruises all over my body

I use to run and hide

Yet, you seemed to find me

Following me wherever I went

In cheer, school, work

 Coach said you won’t ever leave

Knocked me to the ground

I felt like just giving in

Though, I kept getting up

You have made me who I am today

Fighting for my dreams

Kissing my fears goodbye

Why was I afraid?

You had my back the entire time

Together we are undefeatable, unstoppable
