Happy or no is the question here

Could the answer in there possibly bring up fear?

You rejoice and say how happy can you be

When I know what’s really underneath thee

 

You cry you laugh tis a simple thing

But being human can be a scary thing

The hate and hurt the people you lose

But still today happy you may choose

 

Happiness can only bring someone so far

But sometimes it’s a mask to cover that scar

Happy or no the question remains

The world will find easier than stains

 

What only you learn is what you gain

Though sometimes that gain brings so much pain

That emptiness inside, you want to fill

Many try to force it through some pills

 

Happy or no may seem so simple

But really in actuality, it’s not your reality

You lie to make someone else feel happy

But when they find out their mood will be sappy

I’m sorry you had to hear it this way,

The truth is truth and the truth is the say

Happy or no is how the question beams

But happiness is sometimes only in a dream.
