Halloween Night at College

My roommate and I

Leopard dots and lab coat

Walk downtown into the night.

Stopping for pizza

We count three mad scientists (her included), the Hocus Pocus witches,

numerous little fairies, ladybugs, pumpkins and bees

three Spirits of Fall, witches galore.

Downtown, we listen to the drum circle and watch the acrobats.

When we leave, we see

A beautiful snake.

"You can pet him if you want," his owner smiles at us. We do.

Mystery Incorporated, minus Velma (I want to be Velma so much) waits outside.

We run screaming through the haunted maze.

We see a bar of soap at the ice cream parlor

She's so cute.

Then back home to our apartment.
