Halloween time is coming near.

It will soon be time for fun and fear.

Dressing up and looking neat,

hoping to get something good to eat.

Candy is good to eat, and candy is fun to take,

I know by morning I will have a tummy ache.

Here I go door to door, and down the street,

hoping to get some yummy treats.

It's fun to trick and fun to treat

as long as you're careful on the street.

I have to grab my bag and light

so I will be safe on Halloween night.
