Hades Waits

Persephone,

Persephone, oh where have you gone?

Persephone,

Persephone, I'll wait for you 'til dawn.

For that party's loud,

That's surely where you're at.

I can't find you in the crowd,

How I wish you hadn't lost your hat.

If you had your hat,

You'd be easy to spot.

If only you had your hat,

I could find you without a second thought.

Every spring,

You leave me to grow your garden.

Every spring,

You make a difference to the world.

Persephone,

Persephone, please come home.

Persephone,

Persephone, I eagerly await your return.
