Guarded Heart

I gave that unconditional love... AGAPE. You see LOVE has always been my best subject. No matter how hard I wanted to fail I'd always pass. But every pass didn't end with tears of joy and happiness. The Pursuit of Happiness being one of my certain unalienable rights should come easy, yet no matter how hard I'd pursue it was never acquired. Even the forged subatomic portion of happiness I evoked was stolen from me.  Don't act innocent!! You helped build this wall. It started so small but then you came like a tornado causing it to fall. Then your gas leak of problems started a fire and forced me out. Leaving me unprotected and vulnerable for Hurricane Katrina, Hugo, and Andrew which seemed to hit back to back to back like a TV series marathon special. Rome wasn't built in one day and neither was this skyscraper of a wall I got built to stand like the strong unwavering walls of Jericho.  And with your chisel in hand... you had a plan... but your plan was faulty. There are levels to this ish and the wall of Jericho is only the first line of defense. It would take the trumpets from heaven to knock down this stronghold.  Rather than trying to smash through like a wrecking ball; find another way into my safe haven, without setting off any alarms. Which would then give you diplomatic immunity. However even then your quest to get to my heart has yet to be fulfilled. But if that is your goal I hope your best subject is LOVE because your test begins NOW.
