Four men sit with pride and interrogation,
covered and painted, dressed in colors
reflecting the bravery seeping through.
Despite their insecurities and impurities,
letting down, fighting to their knees.
I look up to them and believe that I can stand tall,
whether if I am with three others or standing with no one at all.
I rise to the top because my beliefs and opinions are allowed to shine too,
like Joseph, Franklin, Ezell, David, and the rest of you.
