The Grass and The Wind
Blades of grass dance along with the evening air. They curtsy to their soul mate, wind. The wind spins its partner around and around, wanting to lift its delicate dancer up in the air, only to fail in its attempt. The grass is one immovable object. The grass is one giant green handkerchief dropped by God upon the earth, tucked in tightly, as a mother would tuck in her child at night. The handkerchief can be torn, ripped, and crumbled, but it will always join back together to form a seamless blanket of green. Unwavering, unyielding, and unchanging.
