Grace

Matthew 7:14

14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.

Thank You Lord for caring even when I don’t go straight

Thank You Lord for traveling every step with me on the way

Thank You Lord for smiling even though often I fall

Thank You Lord for seeing me through patience after all

Once I was a nickel now much closer in value to a mite

Once I smiled in the sunshine now I’m fulfilled alright

Once I shed tears in shadow’s grief and in some happiness

Once I lived with fear and now I’m embraced by only-ness

Counting blessings seems a chore in this age of computers

No one wants to stay in place in an environment of polluters

Life seems like a roller-coaster in the valley of uncertainty

It takes me on a daring downhill ride to prepare for Eternity
