The goose in me ...

Proverbs 11:19 New King James Version (NKJV)

19 As righteousness leads to life,
So he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.

Conscience, please stay tender

Don’t crawl in a hardened shell

Talk to me of truth to ponder

Prepare me for the final bell

Lead me by the hand somewhere

Where life makes fully sense

Don’t leave me behind in the sphere

Where darkness rules and hope is tense

Embrace me close and give me warmth

I am so alone and lost without you

Trials of life seem to bring me harm

As I struggle on in a clueless hue

Lost as a goose I feel at times

Please keep me well informed

With you in charge I’m feeling fine

Is not that the way I was reborn?
