Peace on earth goodwill to man let the wars continue

Greed and power churning all hope into the deep

Remembering now and then ... who will pay the dues

as generations are turning to history’s mixed up heap?

What will be has been ... habits cannot be broken

from the fathers to their sons depravity lives on

Repeatedly now seen ... human life as a valued token

its future long forgone ... in a chosen down-syndrome

Searching for the best in all the wrong places

Seeking perfection hoping it resides in leadership

Failing every test ... in a deck without aces

they’re mentally coping ... with the rest of it
