Goodbyes, don't do anything, they only play with my heart like a guitar because that's what you did to me. Oh yeah, that's what you did to me. Now you got me standing in the pouring rain crying. Ain't that a shame? Where did we go wrong? Just seeing your face makes me wanna, cry. Ain't that a shame? Maybe this won't be the last time that I see you. Or am I just losing my mind? While you're holding her hand. I  hope that your goodbyes don't play with her heart like a guitar. And make her feel the way that you made me feel after you'd played with my heart like a guitar.
