Goodbye Guns

I walk into school

Just an ordinary day

Thats when I see him

On the ground I lay

He screams to “Not Move”

I stand paralyzed in fear

A gunshot goes off behind me

Each kid falls down, peer after peer

Then it’s my turn

Nowhere to run

He looks into my eyes once

Then he fires that gun

This is not the world I want to live in

Where I fear for my life

We need to rid of guns

I’m sorry if this causes strife

But I don’t feel safe

And neither do your children

That’s why I’m using my voice

To help this from happening all over again
