A GOOD MORNING

Mon, 08/22/2016 - 15:13 -- AzMac96

Ding, Ding, Ding,

With joy in my heart,

My alarm sings.

The day must start,

“Ha, Another 6:15!!”

Within the hour,

I get out of bed,

Then I shower.

Plan the day ahead,

“Oh, the task I must devour.”

Oh how I’ve longed for morning

Dream after Dream

I wake yearning,

To get what I deemed

Which is more than rewarding.

Her smile, Her touch,

Bright and light.

She is what I love so much,

Oh, how she makes everything right,

There is no love as such…

No love such as this one,

Which is worth more than a morning or a ton.
