THE GOOD BOOK

The nation falls down with all of this change

For we should be ashamed to speak its great name

The book we all know tells us loud and clear

“My children do not fear”

But, seeing my home crumble in lies

Tears me apart as I watch it with my eyes

Giving is one thing, sharing is another

I learned that good rule from the teachings of my mother,

The book she read while I was asleep

"If a man will not work, he shall not eat"

We all need to practice what is preached

Hard earned money is exchanged for debt

We will not be happy with all this regret

Why do we pretend nothing is wrong?

This can only go on for so long.

I do not hate, or discriminate

But stealing is a crime

Remember the saying an eye for an eye?

That’s the good book talking again.

Listen out my friends

The book is the truth, its honest and dear

Why’s it frowned upon, what do they fear?

But remember my friends; the truth hurts

So listen up! Listen loud and clear..
