Golden Afternoon

                                        I am the Duchess
                                                                        And I am Her Queen
                                        I swim in the Ocean
                                                                            I bathe in the Sea
                                        I dance in the Moonlight
                                                                              I sing in the Rain
We are so different, Yet so much the same
                                       Eating soup with a fork
                                                                     And tarts with a spoon
                                       My glass reflects Sunlight
                                                                      Mine shows the Moon
                                       I dine with the Living
I have Tea with the Dead
We brunch with the Monster Living Under Your Bed
                                       I stroll atop Rainbows
                                                                          I sleep upon Clouds
My voice is like Church bells
                                                                       I don't make a Sound
                                       Pray, come and join us
                                                                         Please make it soon
Come play a game in our Golden Afternoon
