God given ...
God given
1st John 1:17 “If we walk in the Light as He is in the light,
we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Christ
cleanses us from all sin”
We walk according to the light we have
even though we are limited by it.
Up to the degree that it falls on us
according to the light that is absorbed.
How can this be? Explained as such
that even I can get the message.
Well let me start over again
with conscience as then norm.
Conscience is not a standard of Holiness.
Christ alone is that.
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life
outside of Him is nothing.
He is the only standard
Who brings us God’s fellowship?
He is the only condition.
Who measures up to Him?
A good conscience merely assures us
that we are complete.
As far as our knowledge goes
and our willingness to follow.
This is our immediate goal, you know,
but really not the ultimate
for that is based on Grace, you know,
all of God, not you, I am sorry.
Standard of conduct is not carved in stone
It should grow in quality.
As the degree of knowledge rises
it will keep pace with it.
As we better understand the scriptures
and revelation comes to us,
experiencing spiritual commitment
should reflect in the life we live.
As His Light progresses
and so to shine through us,
our conscience will go forward
without any offense.
This is God’s given standard
which reflects Holiness
and will point out the flaws
and our sinfulness.
According to respective conditions
God will deal with us.
He always gives the warnings
when we violate His Goals.
We should not extend ourselves
to understand all truth
if it is beyond our capacity
which only the Holy Spirit knows.
