When the entrance becomes an exit
You know it's time to pack it up
And just when the pain begins to lessen
And all your lessons have been learned
It's finally time for flesh to be burned
Can you dig it? Six feet underground
Everything you lost has now been found
It's time to say your goodbyes and bid farewell

Out of sight, out of mind
And this is the way
I've lived my whole life
And, by golly, this is the way I'll die
The face-to-face confrontation
Is something I may never accomplish
Out of sight, out of mind

All I can do is sit here
And watch the world change
Where no day is ever the same
Nothing will ever make this right
As I watch with a glass eye

Never blinking, I witness it all
The pain is right in front of me
If I try to step over, I'll fall
And I cannot break these glass eyes
As telling as a crystal ball
Within them exists no lies
Out of sight, out of mind
Or else I'll rip out these glass eyes
