Girls Are Wolves

The sight of you makes my blood feel on fire

You have no right to cause the pain in her eyes

No right to be the cause of her tears

When I saw you the first thing I noticed was your hair

And I couldn’t help but laugh

I haven't laughed like that in years.

You’d only been together 1 year

So when did everything start on fire?

All you did together was laugh

And I could see the happiness in her eyes

But now their hidden behind their hair

And all you see are her fallen tears

I know you didn’t like her tears

But they’ve fallen for years

They were short and heavy like her hair

Singed on the end with your heart's fire.

Filling her beautiful brown eyes

With the image of your evil laugh

She’ll never forget the sound of your laugh

And she’ll never forget her fallen tears

Or the look in your eye

For the rest of the year

Now when she thinks of you she’ll think of the fire

That made her want to rip out her hair

He used to have long beautiful hair

Then again she used to have a long beautiful laugh

And when she used to look at fire

She thought of happy tears

That shed for years

With the image of wolves in her eyes

The image of wolves in her eyes…

Wolves with soft majestic hair

That had been growing for years.

Wolves with long low laughs

Wolves that could do anything but cry tears

And run away from the fire

It will take years to heal those eyes

Years to put out the fire and regrow that hair

Years to hear that laugh and wipe away her tears.
