A girl with snakes

A monster they called me

When I turned him to stone

A curse

Or a blessing

I asked myself each day

A beautiful woman

Turned vile

Guns for hands

And a new will to defend

The man smelling of the sea

Took my only freedom

And no one came when I screamed

He was stronger than me

I too weak to defend

I looked in the mirror

This I will protect

A beautiful woman

Hardened on the street

Newfound purpose

In lead barrels and gun powder

Shaved my head to blend in

With the ranks of the rascals

I followed home he who would harm

A ravine filled with victims

Who will never make victims of her

A new purpose-built from pain

All men fear my name

Don't dare look into my eyes

Hungry eyes make a perfect target

City by city

A snake preys on men

Not just out for her own revenge

For all the girls who need saving

For all the men who need to pay

Medusa is on the hunt
