This wonderful gift flows through my veins like the blood that's inside me. It's not everday that a true poet is born. I write poetry because it's a way for me to escape, it's a way I can tell me about me. Where I can describe how I am feeling without the whole world knowing. It's my home away from home, my summer vacation, and my favorite song. I write to release the stress in me when I'm mad, to make myself feel better when I'm completely down, or to even just get something off my mind. It's the only side of me that most people don't know. It's the gift that I use to full advantage. Poetry is my life and forever will be!
