A gift

Ephesians 1:17

17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,

may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him …

“The gift of wisdom and revelation ... in the knowledge of Him,”

can’t be learned or taught ... that surely is forgone.

It comes from Him when you belong ... as an inheritance to accept

to be used in the Body of Christ ... for the Glory of the Son.

The Holy Spirit reveals God’s Will ... so my spirit will understand it.

Through the mind, I’ll comprehend ... the meaning of the Call.

He will supply spiritual strength ... to activate the Body

so that God’s Will is executed and I’ll serve Him with “my” all.

Nothing in a person is closer to his spirit than his mind.

A person knows about himself through his intellect.

The things of God, however, are foreign to the mind.

They only appear to his spirit where nothing intercepts.

“The eyes of our heart” ... point to the organ of our reasoning.

Our understanding filters ... through what we ourselves desire.

So first we know by intuition  ... and second mentally.

It starts in the depth of our being and then surfaces to inquire.

From inner-man to outer-man ... communications want to flow.

Not a state of nothingness ... for that is not of God.

Our spirit may enlighten  ... or sometimes may alert

the outer-man through the mind ... to accept this or not.

The outer-man depends on the mind ...  the inner-man on the spirit.

Cooperation between the two ... will help our comprehension.

To fully understand the Will of God and the purpose of His Calling

will be in the twinkling of an eye as the Spirit communes His Intention.

All revelation from the Holy Spirit ... is received by the spirit mine.

We should refuse to allow our mind ... to be our prime element.

The mind is just an apparatus ... somewhere down the line

that should not obstruct the Will of God ... but help define intent.

The mind of a spiritual man ... depends on the Spirit.

Enlightened through the Holy ... it sees through the eyes of faith.

Evil cannot enter in ... this special dimension,

that is called the mind of Christ where assurance and peace is based.
