Get Out Of The Rain

           Get Out Of The Rain

Started to get tired of the same old routine,

The same old you, the same old me.

For years I've been wanting to get away

Escape from this Terrible place

Where you and I seem to call home

To clear my mind just for a day

Vacation is what I always needed

To feel at peace and have my freedom

Free to roam in joy and happiness

Someone would come along with me to witness

That I really do feel peace when I'm away

Happiness, yes, is my final say

Why would I want to go back home?

When I can get away from the old and known.

Its been cold and rainy here from day to day

The rain continuously pours, can I take it? Not anymore.

The rainy days never seem to fade

I'm ready for the summer weather, when I get away.

Sitting on the beach, in the suns fire like rays,

Waves crash over waves,

It turned out to be a beautiful day.

My mind is clear, I can see straight.

I'd love to see another day

I realize now that my future is bright

Since I got out of that cold and dark rain.
