Get with it
John 3:6-7 New King James Version
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
Get with it
Salvation to most is a word and has a particular meaning
I am delivered from my sins, but I don’t know what that means
Someone explained that I was lost, and I understood somehow
I knew where I was then, so my lostness was not here.
I had to feel guilty, and I wanted to be different
And by different, I mean just different from myself
How can I explain this and make you understand?
You need to die so you can live, and that explains itself?
The more we talk, the more confusing is our explanation
So we can’t witness the fullness of truth at all
It takes the Lord Himself to open understanding
And to tenderize our conscience for He saves us after all.
God saves out of Himself me into Himself.
He cuts me off from me, so I am delivered from myself
United with Him in Himself and seated next to Him
deep within Christ Jesus, I know that very well
Now I sit here myself and writing to myself
And I feel myself as I meditate by self
But I am not by myself if I invite myself
So to be out of myself so as not to be lost in self.
Deep within all of the created should indeed be relinquished
So that the newly created will enjoy fully in the creator
For greatness does not depend on how much we gather
But on how much we have lost and that we will see later
