The Game of Life

This life is nothing more than dazzling maze;

A labyrinth of darkness we can’t see;

A puzzling game where all are lost and dazed,

And we know not of what there is to be.

I looked for light to shine my lonesome way,

But I see nothing. All is left to cry.

I walk in circles. I’m in disarray.

Confused am I, and so the question’s why?

Never ending blocks, this tiring game.

Surrounding me,  the only things are walls.

Complex design of play- cruel fate I blame.

“Not yet,” I say, “No night is near nor’s fall.”

Life changes with perception of my sight.

I've always held the light, so ends my plight.
