Future Untitled

Location

Keep your back straight, they tell you.

Keep your head tall and don’t look down.

The higher the wall, the less chances you’ll fall.

But what does it mean in the end?

At a crossroad in life between my heart and my head

Leads me to distant dreams, distant thoughts unsaid.

We’ve all been there before reasoning what we feel:

Could this be it? Is this really real?

But never once so close to an end I can see,

Would this be the final blow that lands my walls of Jericho?

Patience is a virtue and all time can tell,

The mysteries of life locked deep in the well.

But one can’t help but push forward time,

In a rush to the awaiting, a future divine.

But what if this dream is as distant as dim?

What if this horn shouldn’t be blown by him?

So many questions race through my mind,

Like a horse in a track.

So many stories untold, cuz there’s no looking back.

You’re young, go live life why reason this now?

Think of you, what you want...but the question is how?

I don’t know I reply like a child wandering lost,

Seeking the guidance and fearing the loss.

When the time comes, you’ll know it,

But something is missing?

Is it me, is it you,

Did someone not listen?

Patience is a virtue and all time can tell,

The mysteries of life locked deep in the well.

The mysteries of future so quietly awaits,

Till the dawn brings the light,

Until then we will wait.
