Futility

Isaiah 46:8

8 “Do not forget this! Keep it in mind!
    Remember this, you guilty ones.

Futility

Treasures in the sand … dreams of futility

what is riches … if you don’t need a thing?

Emptiness in hand … long lost ability

unused switches … as children now are king

Blisters in the mind … ideas overcooked

tasteless to degree … defeated in purpose

Started with the kind … till one was hooked

as a pedigree … lost all the nurture

Beginning of the end … a story that never was

written in imagination … in a pile of dirt

Never had a friend … seldom had to pass

the plate of frustration … to swallow to one’s hurt
