Funny Cigarette
It took so long to feel this way.
Walking into the madness? I would never want a replay.
She would hunt about and recapture all of her prey,
leaving only the bones after decades of the decay.
I tried to pick up all her ashes, but remembered that a part of her had been scattered.
We searched all night until we found her,
but within an enstance she spoke more fonder.
Her voice more louder,
Her hips more defined, and stomach more rounder.
Does she still need us? Are we such an outcast now?
These questions were soon answered once her presence was renowned.
She spoke with such clarity, her tears washed away.
Her ashes no more, "it took so long to feel this way"--- SHE'D say...
but what about what WE'D say?
We promised it was okay if she went back to decay.
Convinced her for a while but soon relized that she was unsafe.
Disposed of us in each way.
She still has a soul full of intellect, which was impossible to replace.
Dumped her ashes in the tray and then we waited for a replay.
"It took so long to feel this way" --- SHE'D say.
It took so long to feel this way.
