Freedom in the Wind

Inhale deeply...
And allow your mind to race to the pace of that unforgettable, undeniable, once desirable, phenomenal place
Where the dandelions used to grow.
And the golden harvest of them apple trees had once began.
And that moment where we stood completely and complementary inseparable
In silence
In a twilight glitch into time.
When we were between everything.
As if everytime we kissed
The Father of Time would stop his pocketwatch just to see the magic of our lips unwind
And the chemically unbalanced love spark from beneath our tongues.
Because you're what makes me feel
Alive again.
As if I've lost touch of all reality,
However, on the contrary
Im not dying or unable to breathe without a being
But you are what makes life so exciting.
I've gone from what I thought was living
To skipping through the sunbeams to the pace of this heartbeat, life beat, of someone who is dancing.
Singing a joyous song
That matches this tune of mine.
So speak to me
And tell me something so sweet.
Because, for you, my love,
I'll lend my ear.
And for you, my love,
I will listen to your innermost thought that you can't bear.
And instead of me saying what you expected to hear
I'll tell you that
"You are perfect to me, and I will do eveything that I possibly can to be perfect for you."
And wherever you may go,
That is where my heart will be,
Because they say, home is where the heart is,
And everytime I'm with you,
My heart skips a beat,
And as soon as you put your palm up against mine,
Intertwining our fingers within one another making a connection, a bond which cannot be broken,
You see
You are my safe haven
Your arms are which I take refuge in,
No one can comprehend this underlining, silver lining, to this dark cloud in our midst,
It cannot hold us, nothing can keep us,
From sprinting that full distance through this dandelion field
Until we interlock our arms around each other
While the wind softly blows my hair aside
And your gentle touch reaches up to my face again
Our eyes catch a gaze
A momentary glance
Which I will salvage for an eternity
