Freedom

She tells you that winter will fall the day you give a man your all.

All of the late night texts and wondering who'll say "I love you" next...

It means nothing to her until it means something to Him.

She tells you that you're just one of many notches on his belt, doesn't matter what you've felt.

It's confusing being pulled in tw direction: motherly love or his trademarked affection.

You make you choice and leave with your mouth tasting of pomegranite and sin.

She tells you that you'll live to regret it, "You'll come back once you see He isn't fit."

Yet saying "I do" in a Vegas Chapel means freedom and marks your permanent place in His kingdom.

Eventually you forgive her for keeping you safe but you know that being your own is the ultimate win.
