Freedom

Where to go from here my friend ... how can you be free?

Is freedom not considered a state of heart?

When the door closes behind you friend ... what are you going to be?

Is not your life to be a fine piece of art?

The first step you take outside ... does it set your direction?

Don’t you take yourself with you wherever you go?

Not even memories you leave ... at the first intersection

And all that will lead you ... you already know

Death is full of choices friend but life is only One Way

On the first you carry all your baggage

The second however is well paved as someone prepaid

The full price for all falls that you managed

The choice is yours or is it now ... can find it on your knees?

A word or two, a broken heart ready to be filled

It’s not too easy or too hard ... just a whisper of gentle pleas

And a complete willingness to discard your own will

The way your feet are pointed sets the direction where to go

You can’t keep going backward for failure is there

And if you keep looking upward we all surely know

That you will get killed by world’s traffic somewhere

So start seeking inward before you ever leave this place

And prepare the escape from your own self

Run to the Lord and Savior, He knows our given race

Because He became a part of it as you know very well

Trust and He will lead you. He’ll show your needs to be

He’ll take you by the hand deep into the Son-shine

You’ll soar to heights unknown to set you completely free

As like a bird your spirit flies in Salvation’s rhyme
