To rid myself of the constant closure
To expose my intelectual being

a part of me is released
Safely I communicate and open up
Whether the topic of my poems be
good or tough to understand
It is my way to be creative

Exploring my creativity deep within
Letting others be apart of who I am
Sharing new ideas that provoke action

Because I am inspired to show gratitude
to those who came before me
Because I respect the words of others
and want mine to be repected as well
