Flawless, a word for gemstones

a word for little else

imperfect

perfect

I think those words should be flipped

 

I am not flawless

I have freckles

I have stretch marks

I trip over air

I can't flip pancakes

I have ill-timed humor

I find math difficult

but I am perfect

to those who love me

and to myself

and that is all that really matters

 

flawless is an unnatural concept

if I have to really think

 

look at the world around

at the human hand - a perfect concept

but it has its flaws

at a bird's wing - a perfect concept

but it has its flaws

at whales' sleep patterns - a perfect concept

but it has its flaws

 

If I must say it

flawless is flawed

and I love my flaws

If flawless is flawed,

and I have my flawes,

I conclude - I am flawless.
