Four seasons

Summer is a lioness

basking in the shade

Like a queen upon her throne

drowsing in the glade

Autumn is a flighty girl

With flowing skirts and scarves

She dances in

the playful breeze

She sings,she smiles

and laughs

Winter is a matron

a grey and solemn crone

She totters on her three legs

and wanders paths alone

ButSpringtime is an angel

with wings of silver pearl

Under the moon she sings a hymn

to almost and lonely world

Our world
