Forgotten, But Not Lost

Oh my how things have changed
You all were down now everything is rearranged
We were once able to count on one another
Blood, family and friends closer then brothers
But this is the true test when shit like this hits the fan
My situation separates the fakes, the phonys and proves a real man
Characteristics of the past; Respect, Generosity above all being Loyal
Trapped in this prison thinking of you makes my blood boil
Because you don't know what it's like existing in this hell
Dwelling in this minature bathroom known as my cell
So let me enlighten you on thr thingse I have to endure
For this state that I'm in is absent of any cure
Prison politics, gangs, violence, living in solitary
Strip searches, shakedowns and plenty sessions of bullpen therapy
C.O.'s, sheriff's, marshals and Deps abusing their power to no avail
Their disrespect this grand design was created to ensure we all fail
But for me this soldier you can bet will rise above it
Too strong, too intelligent so you alll can fucking shove it
Back then it was my life, my finances or to the last of my breath
For you my beloved I would of killed or happily accept death
So now, so thankful I'm here for it shinned light on the rotten
Cause I'll never be lost but to you unfortunately, Forgotten
