Forgetting Someone

You think he's a Knight,

but soon he takes flight.

Leaves without a word,

your heart feels the touch of a sword.

You try to relinquish the memories,

But this is no remedy.

Forgetting, consumes all your energies,

one week feels like centuries.

At last, the pain seems soothed,

but back he comes, proving the pain is unimproved.

You must live with this bleeding to endure

When will it end? This is unsure.

Just when you accept this dark fate,

you run into another...your new mate.
